OLIC (Thailand) Limited has been Awarded the Certificate of Good Labour Practices (GLP) from Ministry of Labour

On June 27, 2024: OLIC (Thailand) Limited was awarded with the certificate of Good Labour Practices (GLP) from the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, Ministry of Labour.   The ceremony was chaired and attended by Mr. Pairat Petchyuan, Vice governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, for a recognition of implementation Good Labour Practices management.   Good Labour Practices (GLP) is a set of guidelines are the primary guidelines for improving employment and working conditions in accordance with the law also can be developed to implement a good labour management system that is continually comparable to international labour standards. GLP focusing on improving the quality of life of the workforce, freedom of association also preventing and solving child labour problems, using forced labour, discrimination and human trafficking, which are the manifestation of ethical and socially responsible business practices.

OLIC organized “Mangrove Planting” activity has planted 250 mangroves with the community of Khlong Kone Mangrove Forest Conservation Center on 29 March 2024

The management team of OLIC (Thailand) Limited with volunteer staff and welfare committee organized volunteer activities “OLIC Mangrove Planting” under the concept of “Save Earth Save Life”.   The purpose of the activity is to restore and conserve the mangrove forest, which is one of the important marine ecosystems, at Khlong Kone Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, Khlong Khon Subdistrict, Samut Songkhram on Friday, March 29, 2024.   Mangrove forest is important and create a sustainable ecosystem. Since it is a habitat for a variety of animals It is also a source of local fishing for people in the community also to balance the ecology and reduce the global warming.   OLIC hopes that this activity will help preserve and protect the environment and we will strive to continue implementing useful projects in the future.

Mr. Yoshihiro Takada, Managing Director of OLIC (Thialand) Limited, as a representative received the award from Mrs. Sopa Kiatniracha, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare on December 18, 2023 at the Classic Kameo Ayutthaya.   The "Excellent Practices Establishment on Labor Relations and Welfare" is awarded by the Thai Ministry of Labor and focuses on recognizing outstanding enterprises that establish labor relations with employees in accordance with the law, continuously improve labor welfare, establish good communication mechanisms with unions or welfare committees, and are committed to building harmonious labor relations and improving welfare.   OLIC (Thailand) Limited once again winning the title of "The 2023 Excellent Practices Establishment on Labor Relations and Welfare" reflects the high recognition of the Thai regulatory authorities for OLIC active efforts to build harmonious labor relations and adhere to the "people-oriented".

OLIC RECEIVES ENVIRONMENTAL GOVERNANCE AWARD 2022 (GREEN STAR – WHITE FLAG)

OLIC (Thailand) Ltd. has received environmental governance award from Dr. Veeris Ammarapala, Governor, the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand. The ceremony was held at the ballroom, Pullman King Power Hotel, Bangkok.   The Project of Good Governance (White Flag, Green Star) encourages organizations to stick to the Good Governance for Environment. The project represents the cooperation among Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), entrepreneurs in an industry estate, and communities around the estate. In this project, factories are required to reveal their environmental management information. In addition, considered a main mechanism to promote good collaboration between the government and communities, activities are held, namely opening a factory for the public to visit and view its manufacturing processes and pollution management systems. A regulatory commission for the plan to reduce and eliminate pollutions has been designated to look after pollutions problems. Besides, follow-up activities and evaluation are conducted quarterly. Any entrepreneur that can maintain international standards of environmental management continuously will be awarded with the White Flag, Green Star, which is in the form of a flag featuring a green star. This practice will boost the confidence among domestic and foreign investors.
